Our program is reviewed by several international and national bodies. That’s why we not only have EuropeActive (EHFA) EQF licensing, but also Almega’s FRISK license, which is the highest accreditation for personal trainers in Sweden.

We offer a modern, AI-based study platform where you can easily manage your studies in a simple and efficient way. No course literature is required — everything is available on our study platform, which is continuously updated in line with the latest scientific findings, ensuring that you always learn the most up-to-date information.

We place great emphasis on understanding human psychology and behavior change. We work critically with sources, and our program is science-reviewed so that you, as a future PT, can feel confident that the information you receive is current and not based on someone’s outdated personal experiences.

EBT stands for evidence-based training. Evidence means that we apply the best available knowledge together with the practitioner’s professional expertise in training and health.

All Inclusive is ideal if you want to attend in person and value the opportunity to practise together with our experienced instructors. You receive individual feedback throughout the entire course. In addition, you obtain the FRISK PT license, which is a strong merit when applying for jobs.

Flex places greater demands on you to manage your studies independently.

It’s always smart to compare prices. Why pay more than necessary? If you compare our prices with those of other PT schools, you will see that we are generally lower. In many cases, a program at EBT Academy is significantly cheaper than elsewhere.

How can a PT program at EBT Academy cost so little? The comparatively low price does not mean lower quality. We can keep prices down because we combine distance learning with practical in-person sessions. It’s really as simple as that. In addition, we have partnerships with Fitness24Seven where we hold our practical training. We also avoid costs for expensive office spaces.

There are, of course, several reasons why we can offer lower prices. One important reason is simply that we want to make our programs accessible to more people.

Are you wondering if everything is included in the price? The only things you may need to pay for yourself are travel and accommodation for the in-person sessions. Otherwise, everything is included — from all course material to licensing fees. If you live in Stockholm, you might only need to pay for fuel or a public transport ticket, and that’s it.

We offer 6, 12, 18, and 24 months of interest-free instalment plans. For the 24-month plan, an invoice fee is added, but otherwise there are no interest charges or additional fees.

An application is a great way for you to ask questions, reflect, and get a personal contact at EBT Academy. An application is non-binding. When you apply for one of our programs, a spot is reserved for you depending on availability. At the same time, you get the opportunity to secure your place when you feel ready. For us, it’s important that you choose the right PT program.

We follow the regulations of EuropeActive and Almega FRISK PT licensing. Therefore, we have aimed to make the course structure as clear as possible. Overall, the program is divided into three blocks. Our program is the obvious choice if you want a flexible education. Our All Inclusive PT program consists of both digital instruction and in-person sessions.

Block I: Access to our learning platform. There you will find all course literature such as anatomy, physiology, science, as well as a large video library with important exercises you need to master. You also get access to quizzes that help you test your knowledge. Questions you struggle with come with correct answers and clear references to where you can read more. Questions you do not pass will reappear as you progress through the learning platform, ensuring that you truly take in everything you need.

Block II: The program then continues in our virtual classroom, with live lectures that are also recorded and can be watched later. Here you can ask questions and take part in discussions. The lectures run for 8 weeks, 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) from 18:00 to 21:00. By not being booked the entire week, it becomes easier to attend and absorb new knowledge since the learning process is spread over time.

Block III: The final block consists of practical training at the gym together with our instructors. These sessions always run on weekends, and the weeks are listed further up the page. Some weeks run in parallel with Block II. Here, we go through everything from training planning, strength qualities, endurance & conditioning, functional training, strength training, and more.

Finally, it’s time for the examination. The exam consists of a theoretical and a practical test. 95% of our students pass it.

All our lectures and exercises are recorded, and you have unlimited time to complete the entire course. If you miss a physical day, you can make it up when it suits you.

You will receive support from our teachers and an individually tailored plan to help you pass the exam. You can retake the EBT Academy exam as many times as you like and book the days that suit you best. The first time you retake the exam is free of charge. After that, we charge a fee of SEK 950 per exam.

EBT Academy requires that you are at least 18 years old. Otherwise, we do not have any prerequisites; the idea is that you will learn everything you need during the programme!

EBT Academy’s physical training courses have 16 places per course. This is to give you the very best experience and the focus you deserve.

You will have access to EBT Academy’s AI platform for self-study on the same day you register. The sooner you start your self-study, the more you will learn from the lectures. Therefore, we recommend that you book our training course as soon as you have decided to become a personal trainer.

You have the right to cancel within 14 days from the date you register. If you need to cancel after 14 days, a fee will be charged. You can read our general terms and conditions here.

EBT Academy collaborates with both large and small employers to give all students the opportunity to start working immediately after completing their exams. During the physical training, you will be visited by employers who will tell you about their job opportunities and give you, as a student, your first contact.

Our All-Inclusive Training includes both EuropeActive’s international PT licence and the FRISK licence from Almega.

EBT Academy courses are not eligible for CSN funding.

With EBT Academy’s physical training, you can work at all major gym chains such as Fitness24Seven, Nordic Wellness, SATS, Friskis&Svettis, and Actic. You can also start your own business and train with private clients, work at smaller local gyms, become a lecturer, work in the dietary supplement industry, or become a health influencer.

The practical days are held in Stockholm, at Odengatan (Fitness24Sevens) premises.
