Terms and Conditions
The following agreement between you and EBT Academy AB upon registration for our courses.
Terms of payment
Registration is personal. It is always the participant who has the financial obligation to EBT-ACADEMY for the training fee. The participant may allow another person or employer to pay the fees on their behalf, but if payment is not made, the payment claim will be returned to the participant personally.
Non-payment and breach of contract
In the event of non-payment, the account holder may be charged interest on arrears in accordance with the Interest Act (1975:635). In cases where the statutory interest on arrears is lower than the interest rate otherwise applicable in the contractual relationship between EBT-ACADEMY and the account holder, the agreed interest rate shall apply.
Furthermore, any costs incurred in connection with legal recovery proceedings may be charged to the account holder.
Right of withdrawal
You always have the rights set out in current Swedish consumer legislation.
According to the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (2005:59), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of your registration or until the start of the service.
After the start date of your course, you cannot cancel your enrolment and we will not approve any cancellations, payment interruptions, refunds or other forms of compensation for your place on the course.
Termination procedure
If you wish to cancel your application and place on the course, you must do so within your cooling-off period by writing to info@ebtacademy.se to invoke your right of withdrawal.
Please provide your name, personal identification number, and course start date for prompt processing of your request. Only written cancellations received within the cancellation period are valid.
Any exercise of the right of withdrawal when purchasing services, products, training courses or other items from EBT Academy AB must be made in writing to info@ebtacademy.se within the withdrawal period.
Cancellation
Withdrawal may occur if the participant is unable to commence their studies for any reason. Withdrawal must be made in writing as described above. Failure to pay the tuition fee does not constitute withdrawal.
Participants who are unable to attend their training course may, after agreement with EBT-ACADEMY, transfer their place to another person. Applications for transfer of place must be made in writing no later than the day before the start of the training course and addressed to the training manager at the relevant EBT-ACADEMY location. The application for transfer must include personal details.
In the event of a study break, the participant has the right to complete their studies at a later date, but no later than two years after the break began. Our Flex Distance PT Training is flexible and you control the pace of your studies yourself, so breaks are rarely necessary. Applications for study breaks must be made in writing to info@ebtacademy.se.
Limitation of your right of withdrawal Flex Distance
If you wish to cancel outside of your 14-day cooling-off period, but before the course start date, you can do so for a fee of SEK 3,000. This is provided that you have not activated your account on the study platform and have therefore not accessed our course material. The fee is intended to cover the costs incurred by your breach of contract, including administrative fees. A further condition is that there are no more than 30 days left until the course start date.
Cancellation after the start of the course, as well as the right of withdrawal having expired by agreement or if the withdrawal period has expired, will result in the participant being liable for payment of the full course fee, as EBT-ACADEMY has already booked teachers for the course and purchased materials for each registered student. You have the option of moving your course start date to another time.
Fees paid may be credited as partial payment for another course, for the same or another course that begins within one year. Fees for completing the course are adjusted to the current course fee for the year group.
Limitation of your right of withdrawal All Inclusive
If you wish to cancel outside of your 14-day cooling-off period, but before the course start date, you can do so for a fee of SEK 9,000. The fee is intended to cover the costs incurred by your breach of contract, including administrative fees. A further condition is that there are no more than 30 days left until the course start date.

You have the option of moving your course start date to another time.

Change of date
If you are within or outside your cancellation period and before your course start date, you have the option to change the course start date. When changing the course start date, the terms and conditions of your original registration remain unchanged. This means that your cancellation period will not be extended or reset when changing to another course start date. Payment will commence in accordance with the agreement from your original registration. Even if you postpone your course start date, you will still need to pay in accordance with the agreement and payment plan that you entered into in your original registration.
If you wish to change the start date of your course, please notify support@ebtacademy.se and state your name, personal identity number, start date of the course and the new start date you wish to change to.
Payment
When placing your order, you chose between private invoice, business invoice, or interest-free instalments over 12/24 months. We reserve the right to collect payments. Unpaid invoices may result in reminder fees and debt collection charges. Failure to pay debt collection charges may result in the case being referred to the Swedish Enforcement Authority.
If you know that a payment will be late, please notify faktura@ebtacademy.se to postpone the payment and avoid reminder fees.
Invoice
If you chose to pay by invoice as a private individual, this will normally arrive 20-30 days after registration. If you chose to pay in instalments, the date of the first invoice may vary. Invoices are sent within one month of course registration.
All invoices are sent to the address where you are registered in the National Population Register.
Partial payment
If you have chosen to split your payment but have more than two outstanding invoices that have been forwarded to a debt collection agency, the remaining amount will be converted into the total debt you owe us as a company for collection via the Enforcement Authority and the courts.
